the world's got a fever
Saturday, in my hometown, trying to do everything I need to do before wasting the whole of tomorrow on the trip back to the city. The heat is so oppressive. I went to church yesterday because it was Good Friday and the entire time I felt like I was getting heatstroke, like the entire world was having a fever around me. Maybe this is what food feels like when it gets cooked. My brain's not faring so well, either. Headaches every single day. I wonder why I never felt the heat so much in the city. Maybe it's because my apartment, in the middle of a tower, is significantly higher up than my old family home. In any case, that's pretty much all I had to say. Climate change is brutal, and it's all our fault.
