valentine's day with valentine
Happy Valentine's Day! I had a nice day out with my boyfriend: lunch, followed by an afternoon of class and schoolwork and a heated game of Scrabble. One would think I felt more for this holiday, being named Valentine, but to be honest, I'm not that fond of it. It's not that I hate it, either. It's just...a day.
Maybe I'm wearing more makeup than usual, with more thought put into my outfit, but I don't really think about it all that much. As a teenager I used to care about it more, but now that I'm a little older, it feels more like a commercial holiday than anything. (However, I do like having an excuse to go to a fancy restaurant with my boyfriend and then hang out all day.)
